Tarquin Anwar Wilkinson (1960-2004)

Tarquin Anwar Wilkinson was a cousin of the maintainer of this site, born to a British father and Lebanese mother. He was an amateur linguist and traveler, who discovered the international pidgin he called Neo (now known as Neo Patwa) while traveling around the world. He was tragically killed in the Indian Ocean Tsunami in December 2004. Tarquin wrote an introduction to Neo before his death, which I have reproduced here.
